These are a couple of my recent reads that I would recommend to others.

The Subtle Art of Not Giving a F*ck

    By Mark Manson

Mark successfully describes how intense desire for an outcome can disable the very capacity required to achieve it. This book is for those for whom the traditional 'success doctrine' of trail, fail & repeat triggers a deep sense of inadequacy and disabling avoidance. A must read to help overcome this all too common phenomena.

    Forgiveness

    By Mark Sakamoto

Mark Sakamoto tells the intimate stories of his grandparents, who each experienced the brutality of war and survived to nurture Mark and his brother. While his grandmother on his father's side was interred as a Canadian of Japanese descent; his grandfather on his mother's side was a prisoner of war in the custody of the Japanese. Mark goes on to tell his personal history and how forgiveness has moved his personal story forward.
